Personalized Nutrition with Natalie Sousa: A Registered Dietitian

Meet Natalie Sousa, Registered Dietitian and founder of All Stages Nutrition! I work in this space because I’ve seen how often women are dismissed, given generic advice, or told to simply eat less — even when they’re doing everything “right.” My goal is to provide clear, evidence-based guidance and support that actually fits real life. I want you to know: I understand your life from the inside. Not from a textbook. Not from a clinical chart. From the afternoon bloating you've explained to three different doctors and been told is "probably stress." From the exhaustion of eating well and still feeling awful. From the very specific frustration of being an active, capable person whose gut seems to have a completely different agenda.

At All Stages Nutrition, we believe nutrition should feel supportive, practical, and sustainable — not restrictive or overwhelming. I became an RD because I wanted to be the clinician I never had — someone who could give me real answers, not a pamphlet and a referral. Someone who understood that food is deeply personal, that chronic conditions don't pause for your life, and that "eat more fibre" is not a nutrition plan. After years of working in clinical settings, I kept seeing the same pattern: women arriving with gut symptoms, unexplained weight changes, or IBD diagnoses, having already tried everything they'd been told to try. They weren't failing. They were being underserved. The gap between what conventional care offers and what functional, condition-specific nutrition can do is real — and significant. All Stages Nutrition exists to close that gap.

Many of the women I work with come to me feeling frustrated. They’ve tried eating “healthy,” following plans, or cutting foods, yet still struggle with bloating, constipation, low energy, or stubborn weight changes. Often, they’ve been told to simply try harder or be more disciplined. We know it’s not that simple.

Our Approach: Nutrition is not one-size-fits-all — especially as bodies, hormones, stress levels, and lifestyles change.

Our approach focuses on:
Improving gut health and digestion

Supporting metabolic and hormonal health

Building consistent, realistic eating patterns

Moving away from restriction and food rules

I use tools most dietitians don't and condition-specific protocols built around your labs, your history, and your life — not a generic template.

We don’t believe in detoxes, cleanses, or extreme plans. Instead, we use science-based nutrition strategies tailored to your body, symptoms, and goals.

If any of this sounds like you
You've been told your symptoms are normal. You've been given general advice that hasn't worked. You want someone who will look at your specific situation — your gut, your history, your labs, your life — and give you a real plan. You're in the right place.
